What is Endermologie?
Endermologie is a French technique used to smooth the skin and reduce the appearance of cellulite. It is a non-surgical treatment that uses a machine to squeezes the skin between two rollers and a suction device. It is like a relaxing deep massage. The rolling and squeezing help break down cellulite, smoothing out and contouring the skin. This treatment is fully approved by the FDA.

Does it really work?
Yes, studies have shown good results in thousands of cases in Europe. Since becoming popular in the U.S. similar results have been documented.

How long does each treatment last?
 Each treatment will last 30-45 minutes. Your problem areas are focused on, but essentially the whole body (except hands, feet and head) are treated. Treatments are either once or twice weekly.

How many sessions will I need before I see results?
You may start to see changes within 5 or 6 sessions, but a full course of 14 treatments is required to give optimum results. You should plan your treatment course so that it is not interrupted for at least 7 weeks.

How long do Endermologie results last?
For several months up to a few years, depending on age, life style and hormonal changes. Once a month maintenance sessions are recommended after completion of the initial treatment course.

Does the treatment tone the skin?
You will notice some improvement in your skin tone. The clinical appearance of stretch marks and loose skin may be improved.

Does the treatment hurt? Are there any side effects?
The sensation is similar to a deep tissue massage. The strength of the treatment can be individually adjusted to your comfort level.

Minor, temporary bruising may occur after Endermologie treatments. This is minimized when aspirin or other anti-coagulating medications (e.g. Motrin, Ibuprofen, Aleve, Advil ) are avoided. There may be a temporary darkening of spider veins.
